We believe in equipping your child for life through academics and Christian character building.

infants, Toddlers & Twos

Because the early development of infants and toddlers plays a key role in later learning, we at Kiddie Kollege utilize a special curriculum devoted to all levels of development. This curriculum, created by Pam Schiller, is designed for children ages birth - 36 months. It specializes in using activities and experiments to enrich the learning environment and in turn reinforce language, cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. Through the use of captivating themes in the stories, music, and art projects, your child can look forward to a fun and creative learning process.

The A Beka Book curriculum annually educates thousands of children and young adults with it's comprehensive studies written from a Christian perspective. By focusing on knowledge and character, the classroom becomes the ideal place for your child to explore their personality while also gaining understanding of the world and how it works. Each learning level is supported by professionally-written and researched materials, hands-on activities, and exercises designed to stretch their minds and engage them in the learning process.

OUR CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION

Kiddie Kollege is a ministry of Lafayette First Church of the Nazarene, an Evangelical denomination.

Kiddie Kollege will seek to provide your child with the guidance and direction of biblical and moral values and ethics. Chapel Time is held on a weekly basis. Each class will hear Bible stories, sing songs of God's love and His Son, Jesus. Prayer is a vital part of the ministry of our church, we believe it is important that children say a prayer of thanks to the Lord for their meals and snacks.

Seasonal and topical activities turn any environment into a learning space.

During the summer enrollment period, we focus on exploring nature in our surroundings. We also emphasize sensory play in water and outdoor spaces. Infants and toddlers experience the outdoor playground as a part of their learning and discovery. In the meantime, four and five year-olds enjoy Mondays out of the building for a park and pool day. Finally, first through fifth graders take part in our summer day camp where they spend four days a week out in the community through park and pool experiences as well as engaging tours and local company visits.

Fall and winter is heavily curriculum based with indoor play in the main gymnasium.
